Credit Card Is No Good

People in American are learning from the life style they have in the USA. The article in the Cnn news “ Living On A Cash – Only Diet” by Hibah Yousuf describes about some people life economic situation. Some of this people said how they are saving their money. The people are no longer relying on credit cards. They have realized that the credit cards interest is to high. Now the people are using their debit cards or cash. The people want to stop owning money that’s interest its ridicously. People are reducing the amount they spend each month. They are only purchasing materials they need.

With this crisis going on people are losing the hopes in USA. They are changing their living habits. I think it’s the best way people could do is stop using credit cards. People should purchase their necessities through cash so they are not worried of the bills each month. The interest of the credit card is to high and most people never end up paying it off. The people now realize what type of lifestyle they had. Is good buying material or luxuries, but the amount to pay each month is not good. Many people will be saving money and use their money wisely.

Obama’s Plan

Obama the president wants to send more troops to Afganistan next year 2010. He said the troops should be back on july 2011. He announced this because he thinks is the solution to their problem with Afganistan.The presidents say’s that this plan should work after 8 years being in war. This amount of troops going over there will cost a lot of money. He is trying to convince the American citizens that is a great plan hes doing. Obama wants the troops to go as soon as possible, so the problem could be solve. This decision he took most people do not approve it. The 30,000 troops might not survive in Afganistan. The people that will get hurt more is the love ones of the troops. If this plan of the president will work then the American citizens should approve it.

I hope this is the last time troops are being sent to Afganistan or any other place. The problem should be solved a soon as possible, so the troops could come back home.

Thanks Giving For The Troops

Thanks Giving is a day that everybody enjoys it by having turkey with the family and be thankful for what he/she have. The CNN news article described how the troops celebrate this especial day. “Turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, along with a visit by the commanding general in Iraq and a phone call from President Obama, were some of the ways the White House and Pentagon helped U.S. troops overseas celebrate Thanksgiving.” Said the CNN news. Afghanistan, Iraq, and Arabian were some of the places the president gave a call to. About 10 troops the presidents gave a thanks to for their service to the country. “The Pentagon’s Defense Logistics Agency” send a huge amount of food for the troops to enjoy this especial day without their love ones.
This day was to be thankful for what each one of us have. The troops were not able to be with their family but had a great dinner. Hope the troops come back soon to be with their love ones. Hope everyone have a good day and enjoy their turkey with their love ones!

The article, “ Demi Moore’s W Cover : Worst Photoshop Ever ?” by Lindsay Robertson described about a celebrity that posted for the cover of a magazine. The celebrities that pose for the magazines get “airbrush” that helps the celebrity look better. Demi Moore posed for the magazine and the viewers discover that her waist line was thinner. Her hips can obviously notice that she lost weight. After all, Demi Moore seems to have a normal body.
The Celebrities go through a long process in able to be accepted and pose for a cover magazine. The celebrities will do what he/she can to come out on a magazine especially if it’s a well known magazine. The celebrities want to look good because the last thing he/she wants is to be criticized or look awful. The celebrities’ physical appearance is very important to themselves and to others.

The article Black Friday Starts Now For Savvy Shoppers by Jeff Bertolucci describes about shoppers taking advantage over the great deals the stores are offering. The consumers are buying as much as they can in the stores Wal-mart, Sears, and Best Buy. The stores are offering deals before the holidays approach. The consumers are taking the offers. Kmart is offering deals through online for the consumers that do not want to go out and buy. The sales of Kmart is every Friday and runs through November 20. The best tech bargain “According to BFAds, Wal-Mart is effectively selling an Xbox 360 Arcade console for just $100.” Says Brim. The stores are doing what they can even if they have to make it into a “Black Friday.”
The people now buy where ever they can save money. Especially now that the holidays are coming the stores want to sell as much as they can. The stores can sell by giving a great deal to the consumers. If the other stores notice that consumers buy this way then most likely they will do the same offer that the other stores are doing.

The Worst Death

In an article in the CNN news I read about was a teenager boy who killed a little kid. The boy name Raul Renato Castro 14 years old and the victim a four year old name Alex Christopher Mercato got killed being drown into a bathtub with water. Alex tripped on the carpet and fell down and hit his head on the bathtub. He started crying and told Raul that he was going to tell his mother. Raul drowned the Alex into the water 2-4 minutes until he died. After, Alex was dead Raul carried him to the clothes dryer. Raul killed Alex so he wont go snitch to his mom what Raul had done to him.
The news that is being published everyday is always negative. Rarely I hear or read positive news. I think the media focuses more on negative situations people go through everyday. I was shoked why a 14 year old would kill a 4 year old. I think the 14 year killed the kid for a major reason then just being told on. However, maybe the 14 year old teenager Raul might have health problems like mentally. I hope this case finds the truth as soon as possible because it was a death brutal death.

Swine Flu Affecting Schools

I read an article name, Swine Flu Prompts Hundreds of Schools to Close by Don Babwin. The swine flu has been an issue for many places. The flu is affecting schools that many schools has closed. The students can easily transmit the flu. One way would be the seating in class.The students seat next to each other so the flu is easily transmitted. Many schools has closed but looking for a way to keep up the students education so they won’t fall behind. One of the reasons that the school closed because many kids that were sick still showed up. There has been a high percentage of kids being apsent because they are sick. The students are missing a lot of learning everyday. I think the schools should not send the kids home and find a better solution to the problem. The students of course they are sick but need to get an education. The students might think that education is not important now, but as time pass by they will guilt the schools because they are behind. The schools should find a way for the students to not fall behind their education.

Women wants to be in Combat’s

In an article I read was about women being in Marines. Women want to be part in a combat to experience what a man does . Women get trained but never in the front line to be in a combat with the enemy. “I don’t think the American public on a whole is ready to hear about females in the military getting blown up and their body parts everywhere,” Jones said. Jones is a women that is in the marines works in a motor pool at Camp Leatherneck. Women like Jones should have an opportunity to go on combats if that’s what they would like to do. For women it would be a great experience and would break the change of men just being in combats. Women are strong and the Marines should let the women have a chance to prove them.

Flying saucers, mountaintop helicopter stunts, storm chasing, reality TV shows — no gag was beyond his limits.”, Say’s P. SOLOMON BANDA and IVAN MORENO, the press writer of the article in Yahoo page. Hes wife called 911 and said that her little 6 year old son was in the helium ballon. That day the news,police,investigators and much more help the family by following the ballon. Richard the father and his wife were very nervous and scared that their child might have died or suffocated from the helium. This news was everywhere, even here in Los Angeles . The media makes the news so big that they interview the little boy. On the other hand,some people are daughting that the father made this all up to get fame. I don’t know if this might be true or not. I hope it was a real situation the parents went through. However, because the parents should not make their kids go through this negative situation just for their own convenience.

TRAGEDY

Today September 8, 2009 , I heard in the radio the tragedy that happen in the University UCLA. In UCLA at 12:30 p.m a male student cut a female student throat in a chemistry class of 40 students. I was surprise when I heard this news. I did not find out what made the male student get to that point, because the person in the news was still investigating what caused it. I think the guy that caused this might have been her boyfriend or ex. The guy is arrested and under investigation. I think in now it does not matter where you go it’s no longer safe. Everyone has to be alert who is around them, or take their chances.
The radio station passed this news approximately every 5-10 minutes. I was surprise how the media passes this type of news every few minutes making the story sound more dramatic and suspenseful. This was announce on the radio , then most likely its going to appear in the news paper, Television, and Internet. The media seems more interesting of informing the community about negative news instead of positive news.
