Thanks Giving is a day that everybody enjoys it by having turkey with the family and be thankful for what he/she have. The CNN news article described how the troops celebrate this especial day. “Turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, along with a visit by the commanding general in Iraq and a phone call from President Obama, were some of the ways the White House and Pentagon helped U.S. troops overseas celebrate Thanksgiving.” Said the CNN news. Afghanistan, Iraq, and Arabian were some of the places the president gave a call to. About 10 troops the presidents gave a thanks to for their service to the country. “The Pentagon’s Defense Logistics Agency” send a huge amount of food for the troops to enjoy this especial day without their love ones.
This day was to be thankful for what each one of us have. The troops were not able to be with their family but had a great dinner. Hope the troops come back soon to be with their love ones. Hope everyone have a good day and enjoy their turkey with their love ones!
