Today September 8, 2009 , I heard in the radio the tragedy that happen in the University UCLA. In UCLA at 12:30 p.m a male student cut a female student throat in a chemistry class of 40 students. I was surprise when I heard this news. I did not find out what made the male student get to that point, because the person in the news was still investigating what caused it. I think the guy that caused this might have been her boyfriend or ex. The guy is arrested and under investigation. I think in now it does not matter where you go it’s no longer safe. Everyone has to be alert who is around them, or take their chances.
The radio station passed this news approximately every 5-10 minutes. I was surprise how the media passes this type of news every few minutes making the story sound more dramatic and suspenseful. This was announce on the radio , then most likely its going to appear in the news paper, Television, and Internet. The media seems more interesting of informing the community about negative news instead of positive news.
